Terji was born in 1995 and grew up in Faroe Islands. Since his 20’s, he has lived in a couple of places around the world, including Texas, Germany, England and now Denmark.
He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in film production from Norwich University of the Arts in 2020. Terji discovered his passion for filmmaking in primary school and furthered this passion in high school when he was to make satirical entertainment for the annual school parties and the graduation event. After high school, he started a Faroese sketch comedy site on social media with two of his friends. These sketches then developed into longer formats of filmmaking.
Terji likes to process dramatic premises with a humorous perspective. He tries to find funny moments in the darkest times, because he feels that humour is mankind’s strongest light in life.
In this absurd dark-comedy, funerals are happy and joyful events celebrating the deceased. Ole's sister has just passed away after a long battle with cancer, which calls for the usual festivities. The only problem is Ole's deep sorrow and grief, which doesn't seem to fit the occasion.
William is convinced it is his fault that the world is coming to an end. On the planet's last day, he is faced with a dilemma; Should he spend his last hours with his family, who have chosen to celebrate his disabled sister's birthday, or should he meet up with his crush, who is impatiently waiting for him at the local beach?
After the death of their father, Sigurd wants to bury the hatchet and forgive his half siblings, Astrid and Jens, for how they treated him as kids. But this does not go as planned, as Astrid and Jens do not believe they've done anything that warrants forgiveness. Sigurd feels snubbed and realizes that what he actually wants is an apology but this demand only escalates an already tense situation and before long, they start to fall into old habits, revisiting childhood traumas.
The poor and pregnant maid Karen slaves her days away, taking care of the imprisoned noblewoman Rigmor. Their fragile friendship suddenly presents an opportunity for a better life, when Rigmor mentions a valuable treasure buried in the forest. In hope of freedom, the two women spite their differences and attempt an escape. But can they create an alliance across class, and flee from fate?
While at work, the dutiful caretaker Ellis is sought out by his long-lost sister Mira. Under the guise of being in training as a caretaker, she comes with him to work. Throughout a hectic workday, they try to find each other again, through a confrontation of old traumas, open wounds, and unrequited sibling love.
Et ungt forældrepar tager deres lille søn med ud i skoven. Da drengen pludselig forsvinder, begynder en desperat søgen, hvor mørket falder på, og naturen afslører sin ubarmhjertige side. Håbet svinder, mens de presses længere ind i skovens uforudsigelige dyb. Det, der begyndte som en almindelig dag, udvikler sig til et mareridt uden vej tilbage.
