Kristine Plechinger Tüchsen

Kristine grew up as a little sister in a yellow terraced house opposite Brede Torv. When Kristine's parents one day suggested selling her trampoline, Kristine went through what could easily be described as a personal crisis. The words might have been said: Who am I going to be when I no longer have to be the one with the trampoline? Fortunately, Kristine found other things that could be her thing*.

One of which was writing. After high school, this took her on a real tour de force through at almost every folk high school in Denmark. Kristine dreams of telling stories that make people feel a little less lonely or a little less strange. She is particularly interested in restless and self-centered characters, small problems that feel huge, and life's awkward coincidences.

In the summer of 2022, Kristine completed a two-year program at Manuskriptskolen for Børnefiktion. Alongside Super16, Kristine is trying to kickstart her freelance career - both in the literary field and the film industry.
