This is Amalie. She was born in Copenhagen, Amager in 1994. A couple of years later, her cousin hid under the bed and pretended to be a monster, which explains Amalie’s penchant for strange things and amazing tales. As a part of the Harry Potter-generation, she grew up on stories full of magic, darkness and strong character relationships – and she’s passionate about introducing all of it to the Danish film community. When Amalie embarks upon her own adventures, her tools of the trade include courage, common sense, honesty and a well-developed sense of justice. She travels a road full of laughter and with well-planned surprises along the way. A splendid time is guaranteed for all who decide to go on a journey with Amalie.

Amalie has been working in film since 2015 when she went to the United States and studied Film and TV production at Santa Barbara City College. Since then, she’s produced short films, worked professionally producing TV series and feature films, and these days you can find her as a Production manager at A.Film Production where she works with development, production and post-production of animation projects.

Otherwise you can always find Amalie on Amager.
