Thor has broad shoulders, but ironically, he also ended up with weak ankles.
The contrast between strength and fragility is reflected in his films, which draw on autofiction and explore the world through the eyes of children and young people, touching on themes such as family, growing up, and mental vulnerability.
This is expressed, among other works, in the short film Heartbeats, shortlisted for the 2025 Robert Awards, and in Ladybirds in the Legs, selected for the Leeds International Film Festival and nominated for the 2026 Robert Awards.
Alongside his filmmaking, Thor and Kerma are parents to a lively little son, and he is in the process of finishing his master’s degree in philosophy at the University of Copenhagen.
