Jakob Larsen (b. 1999) is a screenwriter and performing artist from Aarhus with a soft spot for stories that don’t take themselves too seriously. He holds a bachelor’s in Theatre and Performance Studies from the University of Copenhagen and has a sharp sense for dramaturgy, plot, and concept development. His work often revolves around themes like identity, shame, and the search for meaning – always with humor, vulnerability, and an edge.
For Jakob, a good collaboration is all about passion, clear agreements, and well-defined roles. He’s detail-oriented but never loses sight of the bigger picture, whether it’s the plot or the project as a whole. He sees the script as more than just words on a page or a dry production manual. Why shouldn’t a script be full of atmosphere and sensory detail, too?
Besides his work at Super16, Jakob is pursuing a master’s in Visual Culture, acting, and working as a freelance illustrator.
