Mikkel Kastberg has worked on several features and short films since the beginning of his carreer. After graduating from The European Filmcollege in 1999, he was employeed by Zentropa Productions Denmark as producer’s assistant. In 2000, while working at Zentropa, he and a partner Producer Jonas Bagger founded Framework Films, a small scale production company.In 2004 he was employeed by M&M Productions (Denmark), where he worked until 2005. From 2005 and on, he has worked primarily with Framework Films, producing documantaries and short films here among the short “DENNIS” selected for Sundance 08, and “CATHRINE” selected for Berlin.In 2008 he moved to New York City, where he joined forces with scriptwriter Travis McMichael and created the production company Framework Films International. After a year of inspiring work Mikkel Kastberg, is back in Denmark where he has been selected for Super16. While not working on Super16 or his own projects, Mikkel is working at TrustNordisk with PR & marketing.
