Ask was born and grew up at Frederiksberg, Copenhagen.
He graduated from Aurehøj High School 1999. From 2000
he has been directing shorts, novel films, commercials, musicvideos etc.
Attending The European Filmcollege from 2001 to 2002.
Award winner for "Best Film" at the Cosmic Zoom Festival with the horrorfilm SoulRipper, later picked for Odense Film Festival.
Student at The Roal Danish Art Academy The Media Appartment.
Ask has been teaching at The Danish Short & Documentary Filmschool in genre film.He has been the author and performer in the satire show "Flemmings Helte" at the National Danish Television DRand worked
for Nordic film .
Ask has an affection for genrefilms and American films from the eighties.
