Behrouz Bigdeli was born the 14th of December 1984 in Teheran. At the age two his parents and him fled from the Iranian capital to Denmark. After spending six months in a refugee camp, Behrouz and his family moved to Odense, where he grew up. From an early age Behrouz’ interest for music and film became apparent. At school he started to play drums in a handful of bands that played the music genre he loved the most, Punk rock. However, music was not what occupied most of Behrouz’s time. Film was his big passion. Not only did he watch a lot of movies but he also took an interest in making them. Therefore he started to make his own short films and writing scripts. In college Behrouz’ commitment to films intensified. He decided to go to the European Film College in Ebeltoft. Here he attended classes in directing and editing, among others. During his stay at the college he received Nordisk Films talent scholarship. After a successful stay in Ebeltoft, Behrouz worked on a number of feature films and TV-productions where he gained a lot of experience and got a bigger understanding of how the Danish film industry works. While working he continued to develop, write and shoot his own projects. In the summer of 2007 Behrouz Bigdeli finally moved to Copenhagen and started the new chapter of his life as a member of Super16 # 05. 2001
